Excitement. Adventure. Heartaches. Accomplishment.

This is the life that Trena has experienced.

Trena has lived in 9 states and Germany due to the military. Her diversity creates uniqueness and lends an empathic ear. She is a graduate of Keokuk Sr High School in Iowa, but split her high school career at Carroll High in Ozark, AL.

She has a handsome 12 year old video game enthusiast and beautiful 13 year old vocalist who are the center of her life. She feels that involving them in community volunteerism builds character and community pride. She tries to involve them in her community volunteer work, as they have assisted with various events including Nursing Home visits with animal shelters. Trena has participated in the Youth Leadership Conferences and mentoring for youth with the Birmingham City School system. She has also served as a Cares Team in an apartment ministry and participated in the Atlanta Hunger Walk to raise money for the less fortunate and homeless.

Public Speaker...Motivator

What a job!

A passion. A desire. A Dream! Public speaking comes easy for Trena, as she began her stage career at the age of 6. She realized after becoming involved with pageantry that she had a gift of speaking. She has spoken to High School students about Career Choices. She has challenged them "to think about the hobbies that they enjoy to do for hours and they don't realize that the time has gone by." "Most likely there is a passionate career for you in that hobby. There was for me, pageantry first my hobby became my passion and led me to my career in Public speaking. If it can do it for me, then search for your is there for you too!"

In 2003, Trena experienced many life challenges including:

House fire, whiplash difficulties and living in poverty while attending college.

Her life challenges has given others the motivation that "Yes...I can. Yes...I will....SUCCEED!"
